Why you need to stay at the ‘Stay Like’ Wicked Suite in NYC
By Jenna Clark
I recently had the opportunity to stay in the ‘Stay Like’ Wicked Suite at the New York Hilton Midtown and was blown away by my entire experience from the second I checked into the suite to the moment I departed. If you’ve toggled between booking a stay at this one-of-a-kind suite inspired by Elphaba and Glinda from the Universal Pictures film, here’s why you should reserve a stay before this limited-time suite ends on January 26, 2025.
You’ll receive a special breakfast delivery.
Throughout your stay, you’ll wake up to a delivery of pastries by a floating balloon outside your door. From pistachio croissants to those filled with cinnamon, you’ll be provided with an assortment of treats alongside some cutlery and plates to enjoy with your party. Although you can’t keep the balloon, it makes for a special photo op.
You’ll receive several keepsakes to remember your stay.
The designers of this eye-catching suite filled with vibrant decor and accessories knew that guests would likely want to bring home a thing or two from their stay which is why they allotted some designated pieces to be kept as souvenirs including the robes, slippers, vinyl record and BÉIS luggage backpack filled with Wicked collaboration goodies from brands including OPI and Beekman 1802. You’ll also receive a voucher from Fandango so you can see the film (or see it again if you already have).
There is plenty of room for photo opportunities.
One of the major benefits of this room is that there are plenty of photo opportunities which you can take advantage of. From the interactive and customizable lighting near the brightly colored beds on each side of the room to the interactive coffee bar and the tulips near the window, your Instagram feed will thank you after your stay at this New York City hotel.
You’ll have the opportunity to experience an in-room bartender.
On one night of your stay, a bartender will make their way to your suite for an in-room mixology session where they’ll create you some cocktails or mocktails inspired by the film which include “Floating Over Oz,” “Ozdust Margarita,” and “Sorcerer’s Elixir” for those who do not wish to consume alcohol—just don’t forget to hand your bartender the magic orb.
A stay in this suite includes access to the hotel’s Executive Lounge.
If you plan on staying in the suite most of the time during your stay and don’t want to leave the hotel, you’ll have access to the property’s Executive Lounge. Serving breakfast in the morning and light bites in the evening, this lounge is a perk you can utilize to ensure you have snacks (and drinks) throughout the day so you can spend more time enjoying your room and less time searching for a bite to eat in New York City.
