There are a lot of reasons to go to Las Vegas. Naturally, the casinos are a huge part of the allure as well as the backbone of the city's economy. Vegas has almost infinite stream of entertainment options. You want food? Las Vegas has restaurant options ranging from the cheapest buffets to the most expensive celebrity chef eateries. Plus, the city is about to become the sports destination with NFL, WNBA, MLB, and NHL franchises. The NBA is soon to announce expansion, as well.

If that's not enough, maybe the Museum of Ice Cream will be the cherry on top of the proverbial Las Vegas sundae. The MOIC is a brilliant American oddity that is an art installation, a play area, a cafe, and an ice creamery. Founded in 2016, there are locations in Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Boston, and Austin as well as one in Singapore. There have also been pop up locations in different cities over the years.

The new Las Vegas location is set to open in 2026, and is likely to be MOIC's biggest operation to date at nearly 30,000 square feet. It will be part of the AREA15 entertainment district. There will be the usual accoutrement such as the sprinkle pools, the ice cream buffet, and a playground. But MOIC is definitely going Vegas with an ice cream-themed wedding chapel and hotel suites.

Las Vegas is a logical destination for a project like the Museum of Ice Cream. It fits the over-the-top mentality that typifies the experience of going to the city. Vegas does have a multi-level store devoted to M&Ms as well as a gigantic ball that has an insanely large screen wrapped around it, after all. An MOIC location will fit right in, adding a new dimension to your next trip to Vegas.
