Now would be a good time to get your SeaWorld Fun Pass for the 2021 season.

Sometimes, you just need some fish in your life and at SeaWorld you can get plenty of it. Now, is a good time to get yourself set for 2021.

Earlier this week I made my plans to do a little business trip to Diseny’s Epcot Center because the “Taste Around the World”, the COVID version of the Food and Wine Festival is going on and decided that I would bring my wife and kids along for the ride while I work.

The plan was to spend one day at EPCOT and the next day at Magic Kingdom but honestly, I couldn’t see the benefit of spending almost $500.00 for just three of us for a trip we have made many times. So we started to look around the area for something to do next Friday and for heck of it, looked at SeaWorld.

Right now there are two things going on at SeaWorld. There is the “Seven Seas Craf Beer and Food Festival” as well as the SeaWorld Spooktacular Halloween Trick or Treat Party. So looking at this as a logical opportunity for my travel stuff, it only makes sense to compare both the Epcot fare and the SeaWorld fare. Right?

Looking at ticket prices brought to the realization that it would cost me about $93.00 for my wife and myself, another for my 16 year old who happens to turn 17 on the day we were going, but my two youngest who opted to stay with their grandpa for the days at Epcot, would be free.

Then I saw the annual passes and frankly, I have no problem going to Seaworld more than once a year. The rollercoasters are fun and my kids love seing the dolphin nursery and the sharks and other sealife. So looking at those I see that they are pretty reasonable in comparison to the one day pass. I mean who wouldn’t pay an extra $20.00 to $30.00 to be able to go back all year. Two times and you made your money back.

Finally, I saw the Fun Pass. The FP will get you into the park for the rest of the 2020 calendar year and not expire until December 31st 2021. That’s an incredible value that will set you back only an extra $15.00 off the daily admission. The FP price is $110.00. I’m not sure how long this will continue and they have had similar deals in the past but now might be a good time to get your annual out of the way before the prices go up.

Considering that Disney and Universal annual park passes cost hundreds of dollars, this is a cheaper option for a park that may not have as many thrill ride options but it is still a great way to spend an afternoon!
