Air travel can be difficult at the best of times. Add into that the insanity of the holiday season, and those difficulties tend to get quite a bit worse. Well, Qantas is putting the joy back in Christmas travel for its passengers with a few festive upgrades for the holidays.
The first part of this is a new livery for certain planes in the fleet. These aircraft have festive images on the exteriors that go with the season as do the changes to the uniforms for the crews. The new gear gives off a strong "Santa's Little Helper" vibe but not in a way that makes you think they should be helping out a mall Santa. it's just the right amount of Christmas spirit to make the great blue skies just a little more joyful, which is something all travelers could use.
If you're flying internationally in First Class or Business Class, the Christmas fun gets taken up a few more notches. Qantas has worked with Australian producers to create special menu options that have a certain holiday flavor to them. That includes specialty themed cocktails and beers in addition to new food items. The closer to Christmas the flights are, the more festive the options will be.

It's also the only airline in the world that flies to all seven continents, which does include Antarctica. Approximately 46 million people fly Qantas per year, with expectations of increases over the coming decade going well beyond those numbers. In a post-pandemic travel world, Qantas continues to be one of the top airlines around.
