Are you ready to enter The Further? Well, get ready, because the latest haunted house to join Universal Halloween Horror Nights’ already packed lineup is Insidious: The Further, inspired – naturally – by the Insidious film franchise.

Coming to Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 30, and Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5, the house will take you along with the Lambert family as you travel through the iconic house from the films, and into The Further itself, aka the hellish dimension featured in the series that’s home to demons, ghosts, and worse.

To get even more specific, if you do know the movies: yep, you’re going walk right through the red door from the films. You’ll also come “face-to-face” per a press release provided to TripSided, with creatures from the franchise like The Red-Faced Demon, the Bride in Black, the Man Who Can’t Breathe, and KeyFace.

In fact, you’ll go through multiple red doors as you travel, er, further into The Further. Will you be trapped there forever? Probably not, they have to turn around the crowds pretty quickly at this popular event. But still, it might feel like that.

Insidious joins other big movie franchises at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights like Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which adapts the new movie; and A Quiet Place, which adapts the first two films (not the recently released prequel). They’ll be joined by multiple other original property houses, which having been multiple times I can confidently say are often even better than the adapted properties. And there will be multiple Scare Zones throughout the event, the requisite spooky snacks and drinks, and more.

You can get tickets now for Halloween Horror Nights at both events, including an early access Premium Scream Night on Thursday, August 29 at Universal Orlando. That is… If you dare!!
