Things are heating up as we get closer to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, aka the beginning of spooky season at Universal Studios. And though you might be ready to scream in terror and delight… Don’t. Because the latest announced house for the event is based on Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place, and A Quiet Place Part II.

While you’ll have to wait until June 27 to see A Quiet Place: Day One, the prequel movie, in theaters, you can walk your way through the terror of John Krasinski’s original vision in both the Hollywood and Orlando Horror Nights events – Friday, August 30 in Florida, and Thursday, September 5 in Los Angeles.

Though Universal’s haunted houses are marked by their excellent production design and creeping terror, they’re also not really known for silence. That will change in these new houses, based on the movies where strange alien creatures stalk anyone who makes a noise. To that end, Universal touts that “the haunted houses will embrace unique sound design, special effects and the adept performances of the scareactors to convey the ominous sense of dread depicted in the films.”

Most notably – and laudably – the new houses will use American Sign Language (ASL) per how the characters quietly communicate in the films.

And yes, you’ll be able to walk through iconic scenes from both films, including the farmhouse the Abbott family hides in, the root cellar where Emily Blunt’s Evelyn gives birth – somehow in near total silence – and more. Not confirmed as of press time: whether the iconic whiteboard that reads “creature” and “survive” from A Quiet Place Part II will appear, but we’ll keep our eyes out.

Halloween Horror Nights will run September 5 through November 3 in Hollywood, with eight houses to enjoy (including the A Quiet Place one).

Orlando, meanwhile, will open early this year on August 29 for a “Premium Scream Night” that will limit the number of guests in the event. Then it officially opens on August 30 with 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and live entertainment.

…and if you’ve never been to either event, it is the best time you can have this Halloween, so don’t miss it. Just make sure you whisper your excitement about HHN… Wouldn’t want to summon any monsters.
