If you’re headed to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer, there is much to look forward to. Although summer in Florida can be hot, the resort is providing families a reason to visit during this super sunny season with discounted kids tickets, new shows, dining plan deals, and more. Here's what you need to know about visiting this Orlando vacation hotspot.
Deals

- 50% Off Kids Tickets: If you plan on visiting Walt Disney World between May 27 and September 20, 2025, you can expect to receive 50% off on tickets that are 3-days or longer for kids ages three to nine.
- 3-Day, 3-Park Tickets: You can enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT with a 3-day, 3-park ticket for $89 per day between April 6 and September 22, 2025.
- Free Dining Plans: Walt Disney World Resort guests who purchase a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) room and ticket (Park Hopper) package can receive a free dining plan between June 29 and December 22, 2025.
- Disney Resort Hotel Deals: There will be opportunities for guests to save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotel rooms for longer visits between August 1 and October 11. There will also be opportunities for Annual Passholders and Florida Residents to save on hotel rooms, too.
Entertainment

- Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After: This 40-minute live show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios featuring Disney Villains, including Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent, will open on May 27.
- The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure: This fan-favorite show has been reimagined and will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27. It will feature two new musical numbers, “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”
In-Park Characters

There will be more chances for families, especially those staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, to enjoy Disney characters during early entry and during specific times throughout the day at the hotels. Additionally, Goofy will be at EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall. Stitch may also be seen more in Tomorrowland.
