Universal Orlando Resort Debut New Experiences This Summer

As the weather heats up and the days spring forward, Universal Orlando Resort announced much earlier on debuting newly entertaining experiences. The June grand opening of DreamWorks Land to CineSational, a new castle show in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and the Universal Mega Movie Parade for a July schedule.

The resort president and COO Karen Irwin expressed excitement towards the launch of new attractions and events to happen in the months after May.

“We are thrilled to debut an array of never-before-seen experiences for the entire family to enjoy from day to night,” Irwin said. “These new experiences coupled with the amazing attractions currently in our theme parks will allow our guests to create lasting memories that will make this summer truly unforgettable.”

The details about the new experiences coming to the resort this summer areCineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular debuting on June 14 includes seated along the waters of Universal Studios Florida will steer in front of our eyes with newly nightmare show plus music playing iconic scores and scenes from blockbuster films that inspired Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions such as Warner Bros. Pictures Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films to Jurassic World, Back to the Future, and much more.

However, the lagoon show provides eye-catching technological special effects, 228 fountains reach heights up to 131 feet, 4K projection mapping an original composition featuring newly arranged scores crafted to each scene, and more than 600 drones envelop guests in display of cinematic moments.

The Mega Movie Parade sounds fascinating which will begin the day before the 4th of July and what a way to celebrate the studio's films leaping off the screen and landing on the streets of the park. The daytime parade will combine 13 brand-new floats, nearly a hundred performers, and special effects to create a jaw-dropping experience where guests can relive classic film moments in a whole new way.

The 16-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man atop the Ghostbusters float, the colorful Caterbus and giant rainbows on Trolls float to a live marching drum line perform the movie score of Jaws alongside a float themed to the film for the epic finale on the Jurassic World float.

The Hogwarts Always Castle Project Show will please Harry Potter fans, which will debut on the same day as the CineSational experiences. Only on selective nights, those who visit Hogsmeade in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will spend the nighttime in Hogwarts Always is a new projection show that will take whoever on a voyage through moments of a school year at Hogwarts set along the backdrop of Hogwarts castle. From shopping in Diagon Alley to riding aboard the Hogwarts Express to the Sorting Ceremony in addition to celebrating the House Cup winner and so much more that promises Harry Potter fans of all ages.

Lastly, as mentioned before DreamWorks Land is set to open June 14 where guests will explore the worlds of DreamWorks Animation.
