Tripadvisor Traveler Awards 2024: Top vacation destinations revealed

Tripadvisor is an extremely reliable site for browsing a nearly overwhelming amount of travel destinations. And while there’s plenty of editorial curation going on, the main draw of the site is that it culls together real travelers rating the places they’ve been. This is why it’s pretty exciting to browse through the recently released list of Tripadvisor’s Traveler Awards for 2024 – specifically their Top Destinations worldwide.

Coming in hot at number one? Dubai, for a variety of reasons. Tripadvisor users particularly rated the destination high for great activities after dark, for luxury and special occasions, safaris, and 4WD tours. And if you know anything about Dubai, you know that it has been extremely aggressive in pretty much non-stop adding experiences for travelers, clearly making it one of the top destinations in the world - Tripadvisor, or no.

Number two on the list is Bali in Indonesia, which users found great for rafting, spas, and cultural tours. Third is London, and highlights include historical tours, cultural tours, movie tours, and bars. I personally would take umbrage to the bar thing because while the pubs are great they close too early. If you want a good bar experience, go to number 25, New York City.
