Three reasons to visit Las Vegas in 2024 now that Super Bowl LVIII is over
Super Bowl LVIII is over. The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, and defeated the San Francisco 49ers to repeat as NFL Champions. Now, everyone is leaving the city to return home. If you’re thinking about planning a trip to Las Vegas, this may be one of the best times to do so. With that in mind, here are three reasons to go to Vegas now that the big game is over.
Pool Season is Incoming
If you love a pool party, then Las Vegas is one of the best cities you can hit in the United States for a pool party. Several clubs feature pools. Some are great for families, others are adults-only, and many bring in the top musical acts from throughout the industry. There’s always something happening at places like Circa, Drais, and many of the other destinations in the city. Many of the most popular hotels in the city have pools, with some being open to the wider public for wild parties at the height of the season. Pools are open beginning in March through October, so start planning your trip to be there when the waters open.
EVO 2024
Video game players are enjoying a re-emergence of sorts within the fighting game genre. Recent releases like Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and others helped the industry return to the levels of its heyday. EVO is a giant annual tournament where the best players from around the world meet in Las Vegas. While participating in the tournament may not be the best idea for everyone, going to watch is an experience all in its own right. EVO USA is scheduled for July 19 to 21 in Las Vegas and is another great reason to hit the city.
Wu-Tang Clan Residency
Music is always a big reason to visit Las Vegas. Many of the biggest acts in the world make it a point to stop in this city, whether it’s for a few shows or to take on a residency – there’s always great music in Las Vegas. That’s also true about hip-hop. One of the best acts in Hip Hop history is set for a brief residency. Wu-Tang Clan will be in Las Vegas for two weekends, but you've already missed out on one. February 9-10 and then again on March 22-23. The first weekend has come and gone, but if you can make it out to Vegas for that weekend in March this would be a must-see concert for any music lover.
