Mexico in March

March is the kickoff point for spring each year. Travelers are ready to welcome in sunny weather, longer days, and hitting their favorite beaches. If you’re looking for a place to travel in March 2024, Mexico City should be at the top of your list for international travel.

As winter breaks, March marks the turn of the season. This is a great time of the year to go to Mexico City because you can enjoy mid-70s temperature, without the raging humidity or weather swings of other popular destinations. There will be no complaints about the weather when you’re spending your days and nights in Mexico City

Mexico City has an answer for every activity you’ve planned for your vacation. Bustling neighborhoods for walking, excellent restaurants, historical museums, and thumping nightlife venues. There’s certainly a place that will keep everyone happy, regardless of what interests you the most.

Great food is mandatory and Mexico City scratches that itch. Places like Pujol, Maizajo, and Niv stand out as examples, but they are far from the complete list of the best places to eat in the city. You may want to flock to a major spot, but don’t skip over the smaller locations found throughout the city.

If you’re looking to party, Mexico City is an interesting middle-point between major US cities like Las Vegas and smaller, but still popular places like Washington DC. Make it a point to hit spots  like Polanco if you’re looking for a major attraction in the city. Condesa and Roma are located within walking distance of each other, allowing you to hop between both in the same night.

Traveling to Mexico City can be expensive, with flights hitting $500 and above. Make it a point to use all the travel tips available to purchase flights on particular days of the week or plan your travel during “slower” times. The further out you plan, the better the opportunity you will have to make it to the country, without breaking the bank.

If you’re waiting until March to break out your luggage and passport, Mexico City is one destination that will pique your interest. With fantastic weather, food, and fun, this is a place well-worth your visit.
