This city is heating up with fun things to do. To help you get to the good stuff, we’ve picked the best things to do this week in L.A.

Los Angeles has an exhaustive array of things to do. If you’re a film buff, vintage Hollywood is a must-see.

Some classic attractions in the area include TCL Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Paramount Pictures Studios, the only television and film studio left in Hollywood.

Santa Monica Pier

For a taste of stardom, window-shop along Rodeo Drive or cruise Sunset Boulevard. There are also a plethora of shorelines to choose from, including Venice Beach, Zuma Beach and the Santa Monica Pier and Beach.

And after exploring all LA has to offer, consider taking a day trip south to Anaheim-Disneyland.

Besides these signature places, the following are some more to be checked out.

Hollywood Bowl

Potter fanatics can catch their favorite boy wizard on the big screen at the Hollywood Bowl–upgraded with live musical accompaniment by the L.A. Phil.

Enjoy a night under the stars and try out some of this season’s new food and drink offerings from James Beard Award-winning Lucques Group while you’re there.

We wouldn’t have thought to combine the meticulous craft of bonsai gardening with convivial beer drinking, but thankfully Boomtown Brewery is here to show us the way.

Your ticket includes a flight of craft beer, all the supplies you need to create a small plant arrangement, and a one-hour lesson with plant expert Sheena Langub of Rooted Harmony.
