Here is the best place to visit in Costa Rica

Costa Rica sounds like the perfect getaway, especially if you are looking for hot weather. With white sand beaches, clear water, fresh fish and fruit, Costa Rica is actually the ideal destination to relax and let go of all your worries.

Costa Rica is located on the Caribbean coast which is far less crowded than the Pacific but also much less developed. We really recommend the town of Puerto Viejo. There, you’ll have the authentic Costa Rican experience without the crowds or luxuries. To get there, you’ll have to fly into San Jose, which is in the middle of the country.

Then you’ll need to drive or bus to Puerto Viejo. The bus is cheaper and operates frequently throughout the day, but is often very crowded. You will also need to take a taxi from the airport to the bus station. When you finally arrive in Puerto Viejo all you need to do is rent a bicycle. It is a small town which can be easily visited on a bike.

Puerto Viejo is full of hostels. They are the cheapest way to go and they are also very nice! You’ll meet a lot of people and make a new friendship. If instead, you feel like taking a couple vacation or not socializing much, an Airbnb is a solution.
