IHG Hotels is offering the ultimate getaway with a year of hotel stays

When it comes to getting away, there are some hotels that we just naturally gravitate towards. And considering that IHG Hotels & Resorts offers us some premiere destinations across the globe, it makes sense that when they announce a giveaway opportunity, then we pay attention.

Have you ever heard of the Department of Epic? We hadn’t either until IHG Hotels & Resorts announced their most epic giveaway ever. So what is this amazing giveaway I keep mentioning?

According to a press release from IHG Hotels, it seems that they are giving away hotel stays for an entire year! But it’s not just any old hotel stay. No this is package worth a whopping $60,000!

In the release, they revealed that starting today they are running a “contest that will give one lucky US-based traveler the chance to win back a year of missed adventures with 365 days worth of epic hotel experiences at various IHG locations, including InterContinental, Kimpton and Holiday Inn Express.”

For the lucky winner, it is not just a hotel stay that you get. There are other perks as well. Among the other things you get with this giveaway is:

• A personal booking concierge
• IHG Rewards status immediately (Upon winning, you are awarded the highest level of the IHG Hotels rewards program, which is the Spire Elite Rewards Member.)
• A collection of robes perfect to remember a year of relaxation
• A private car (According to the giveaway details, “to get around, IHG will give the winner access to a private car at select hotels to take them wherever they want to go around the city.”
• You get the chance to swap out your at home mattress for the mattress of your choice out of a deluxe collection of mattresses (The mattresses in the collection will feature some of the beds you have slept on over the past year.)
• 12 months of fine dining (Once a month throughout the year, you will get to experience fine dining at its best at one of the IHG’s award winning restaurants.)

But that’s not all, as it seems that there will also be experiences involved as well, which means that it isn’t just about getting you to the hotel, it is also about making sure you get to explore the area.
