When it comes to traveling, there are a lot of ways you can create a unique vacation experience. And thanks to Airbnb, this is especially true.
As part of their new Wishlists series, which Airbnb customers will receive in the newsletter sent out my the company, they have created a list inspired by The Greatest Outdoors. From there, the categories include Happy Campers, Pastoral Places, and Design in the Wild. And it is under the Design in the Wild category that we find The Pinecone Treehouse.
According to its listing on Airbnb, The Pinecone Treehouse is located in Bonny Doon, California and costs $450 per night. And with it being 35 feet in the air on the uphill side, and 60 feet in the air on the downhill side, you know that this is going to be a stay unlike anything you have ever experienced. But that’s not all the listing has to say,
"Floating high in the branches of the magical Redwood forests of Bonny Doon the Pinecone Treehouse will immerse you in 360 degree views of the forest’s upper canopy. Allow the healing power of this forest environment and this awe inspiring structure to sing you into complete relaxation, imagination and reflection."
The Pinecone Treehouse is an elegant glass Airbnb high in the trees of the Redwood forests
Think of this as an adventure, as you spend the night in a treehouse beyond anything you have ever seen before. And not only that, but you get the chance to be inspired by nature, as much as you are the Airbnb itself.
Considering the only way to get into this Airbnb is via a 30 foot ladder, they do recommend using the harness and safety ascension gear that is included. Obviously, it is up to the guest to decide how they want to get in and out of this treehouse, but honestly, we say better to be safe than sorry when you are on an epic adventure.
Honestly, this might just be the most epic treehouse we have ever seen, and even if we do have to climb down 30 feet to use the bathroom or take a shower, it is totally worth it for the chance to be a pinecone in a sea of Redwood trees!
