They say that every person has seven lookalikes in the world, and if this is anything to go by, one can rest assured meet one or more of them during their lifetime. The world is small, and it is getting smaller with the advent and constant gradation to the World Wide Web. Finding a friend from secondary school or your graduation days seems easy thanks to Facebook, and connecting with people on a similar topic is easier with the use of hashtags. In case you wish to visit a place to a far-off location, the best way to find it is using the web, but what if the lookalike of it is right next to your place. If you thought that was unreal, let’s introduce you to six locations that have a similar view to the location in India, so without further ado, let’s dive in:

Switzerland Meadows and Khajjar Landscapes in Himachal Pradesh

If one can ever try to draw a parallel to these two locations, they will be confused while comparing them or one place and its mirror image. The two are so identical that Khajjar Landscapes is called mini Switzerland, or you can call the other vice-versa. Don’t believe us, Google, and be amazed.

Niagra Falls and Chitrakoot Falls in Chattisgarh

Were you amazed when The Undertaker met his twin brother in the WWE? If so, this one will appease you and also bring a smile because the waterfalls have a soothing sound and an uncanny resemblance to each other.

Venice Backwaters and Alleppey Backwaters, Kerala

Houseboats in Venice have become a tourist attraction over the years, but little do people know that Alleppey Backwaters in Kerala are similar to the ones found in Venice. The difference is that Venice backwaters have houses around them while Alleppey Backwaters have nature which gives a serene experience.

Coloured Island in Burano, Italy and The French Colony in Pondicherry

Architectural Design and the colors are two distinct similarities between the locations, but what makes it surreal is the tranquillity of nature that one can experience. The places feel blissful as they came to life with some architectural finish and a color combination that brings light to the houses throughout the day and a party feeling at night.

Lake Windermere of Lake District and Nainital Lake

Nainital Lake, also called Naini Lake, is identical or a mirror image of Lake Windermere in England due to the look of the river and the surrounding areas. Nainital is known for Tal (lake or pond) as the location has various ponds, but this is a mirror image of a lake in England or vice-versa.

Antelope Valley, California and Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand

As is evident from the names, it is a valley of flowers where a wide variety of flowers blossom through the day and glow through the night with their fragrance. Well, we understand that glow is subject to light, but one cannot deny that the smell of these magnificent flowers brings across a smile to everyone’s face during the evening time as it flows through the breeze when the sun sets down. Nature has its ways to mesmerize us, and this one is no different.
