The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is back and will be bigger than ever and now you can start planning your visit as the dates have been announced.

On July 15th Epcot will unveil their annual International Food and Wine Festival. The event will run through November 20th. This year, according to the Disney Parks blog, more “marketplaces” will be in place making this year the biggest in its 25 years.

What was once a food-driven spectacle that was confined to the World Showcase pavilion area, over the years kiosks or marketplaces opened around the grounds of the Port of Entry. Last year an increase brought more food to kiosks located around the area close to the Test Track ride.

With new markets coming this year, Epcot may eventually see food markets scattered around the entire park, and no one would complain!

This year will also see the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille ride at the France pavilion.

While Epcot has food festivals throughout the year, The Arts Festival and currently the Flower and Garden Festival, it is the International Food and Wine festival that really is the highlight for visitors.

This year’s event has more than just food to offer as well. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak will return again this year and is fun for the kids. Throughout the festival, Remy is hidden in various spots and kids or adults can buy a chart to tick them off and win a  prize or just hunt for Remy for fun.

Perhaps the biggest announcement is the one that wasn’t made. While we knew the festival would return, it did last year despite COVID, we still do not know if the concert series will return with it. There has been no announcement yet but I would venture to guess that it will return this year in some form. The Disney Parks Blog says that more news will come soon!
