When it comes traveling, we often think about flying to exotic destinations with the help of American Airlines, Delta, and more. But what if you can’t? What if there is something like say a pandemic, and you can’t just hop on a plane and fly around the world? That’s why one airline is doing their part to help cure our travel envy.

Although your first thought when it comes to travel might not be wine, American Airlines is doing what they can to change all of that. According to Delish, the airline is looking to chase away our no-traveling-blues by partnering with Flagship Cellars to offer us a chance to snag bottles of wine that can typically be found on-board an American Airlines plane.

Over on the Flagship Cellars x American Airlines page, wine lovers and travel enthusiasts alike can “choose a destination” that gives them a list of wines perfect for any taste buds. And we are not just talking about red and white wines. This list includes Port and Champagne as well.

You can even choose to let Flagship Cellars curate a bundle of 12 bottles with bundles shipping for free. Of course, if you do opt for one of these 12 bottle bundles, be prepared to spend at least $199! However, you are getting an assortment of bottles that perfectly represent American Airlines and their wine offerings.

American Airlines gets into the wine club business for those of us missing travel

Want a subscription to this wine club? That is also an option! Every month, you get three different bottles of wine delivered to your door. From red to white, there is a wine for every destination.

And to make this wine club even more travel friendly, it seems that you earn two travel miles for every dollar spent on the Flagship Cellars collaboration. This means that even though you may not be traveling right now, you can save up those travel miles for when you can once again freely fly to destinations unknown.

While wine might not be the best substitute for flying to another state or country, it is a nice option for those of us staying home and looking for a bit of fun in our lives. And the fact that this is a curated collection inspired by the wines already part of the American Airlines rotation makes this the kind of club even the most picky traveler will appreciate.
