Downtown
Whether you want to spend your evenings hopping from bar to bar while checking out the local musical talent or wanting a relaxing walk or picnic at Lake Eola, downtown Orlando has plenty to offer.
The bars can get loud and the fun begins at sundown in this fast-paced seven nights a week entertainment venue. Church St. takes center stage for the Orlando nightlife whether it is food and entertainment or concerts.
Lake Eola is a short walk away with a large lake surrounded by a walking path that gives you a more natural escape from the city itself. Plenty of dining options are at your disposal as are basement styled wine bars.
Some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten can be found off East Colonial Blvd just a quick drive from Church street. Little Vietnam offers a wide variety of regional Vietnamese food and is well worth the drive over if that is what you are craving.
