Niagra Falls is one of the more beautiful natural wonders of the world that you should visit.

Getting to Niagra Falls can be a bit of a problem especially if you live nowhere near it. Now, you can visit it virtually.

A couple of years ago I took a trip up to Northern New York and the city of Buffalo, don’t laugh. We made the drive from Cleveland so we could take our kids to see the falls that are just north on the border with Canada.

If you have heard that the Canadian side is nicer than the American side, well, that is true. Canada has made it a point to accentuate the falls as a can’t miss destination whereas the U.S. side has simply made it a “here they are” experience.

For me, I didn’t want my kids to forget their trip to Niagra Falls so I videotaped it. No, not like with a video camera slung on top of my shoulder, I used my nifty old Nikon 4k VR camera and I managed to catch some nice views of Niagra Falls that you can now take a look at. To get a much better feel, put on a pair of VR Goggles or any VR headset and really dive in

The best way to view this is on a computer that can display in high-definition. You can look around by clicking the screen and dragging it left and right for a full 360 view.

The above video is rather short but it was a test run for future videos and we will be sure to have more VR movies available for you in the future.

Heading to Niagra Falls is a fun way to spend a warm summer day. Needless to say, it is rather cold in winter but even then, the plumes of mist tend to be much larger due to the colder chills and there have been occasions, many actually, where you feel the sting of ice on your face as the wind takes droplets of water and freezes them. Then casts them out with the wind.

On the American side, there is a small bridge located about where this video started. Walking to the other side of that bridge takes you to some lesser falls and a nice view from atop a ledge that will get you a little wet. It’s not a long walk and is free so definitely something you might want to take advantage of.

If you can’t get over the Niagra Falls suspension bridge to take make Canada a part of your trip, make sure to check out some of the local fares in Buffalo.

Here at TripSided.com, we want to show you the world the best we can and we invite you to tell us about the places you have been or want to travel too. Remember, every day, ask yourself, “Where do you want to go today”.
